NAME: Jim Zubkavich RESIDENCE: Toronto, Ontario, Canada OCCUPATION: Illustrator, Manager, Instructor EDUCATION: 1 year of Film and Multimedia- Humber College 1 year of Art Fundamentals- Sheridan College 2 years of Classical Animation- Sheridan College BIO: I'm a 30 year old Canadian guy tackling the dream of working in comics and animation. It's a scary roller coaster ride with twists and turns, but I'm loving it anyways. I've got two careers on the go - I work as an illustrator and project manager at Udon, an art studio and publisher that specializes in artwork for comics, video games, RPGs and other entertainment properties. It's my job to act as a liason between the artists and our clients and keep projects on track. In addition, I look for new clients to work with and new artists to add to our talented crew. At the same time I'm coordinator of Seneca College's award-winning 3 year Animation Arts program. My duties at the college include curriculum development, student/staff communication, admission portfolio assessment and teaching courses (currently 2nd semester Character Design and Layout).
